Steve Cotterill previews Town's Sky Bet League One clash with Lincoln City.
Shrewsbury Town are on the road again as Salop take on Lincoln City at Sincil Bank in Sky Bet League One action.
Steve Cotterill’s team will be looking to secure all three points against the Imps after 1-0 victory last time out against Hull City.
Town’s Manager is expecting another tough test from the Imps and expects to see a different Lincoln City.
“There will be quite a bit they will replicate. They are very good on the counter-attack and that’s something we need to be aware of. Both teams will change compared to the last game.
“I would say that their style of play will be the same and Michael has implemented a good style of play – it is something we are always mindful of. There were a few things we picked out from our last game against them.
“We will be looking at their last couple of games because predominantly that will be the players that will be involved."
On confidence going into the tie:
“Obviously the last game will provide a boost. It has been nice and lively around the training ground this morning. The lads are bubbly which they haven’t been for a little while.
“This is another tough fixture. Since I’ve been here, we’ve played some tough games. Sunderland comes on a Saturday and Doncaster is the week after. As I said when I came in, this will be an incredibly tough month but a good month for us.
“I like the group we have here. They are all good lads. We have ended up having a decent rapport so far. I don’t want to go over the top but they have been really good.
“The lads have been good today. We did little out on the grass with more in the meeting room. We needed to de-brief Saturday before we looked at Lincoln. We did a light training session with some tactical things. All of a sudden, teams get a break but we play Doncaster – it’s full-on.
“Everyone who was available for the last game is available. It’s amazing, you don’t get as many injuries when you win.”
