Steve Cotterill previews Town's Blackpool fixture

Steve Cotterill previews Town's Sky Bet League One clash with Blackpool.

Shrewsbury Town return to Montgomery Waters Meadow tomorrow evening after four successive away fixtures to take on Blackpool.

Salop will be looking to make it eight Sky Bet League One games unbeaten with a result over the Seasiders after a 1-1 draw with Wigan Athletic last time out.

Town's Manager, Steve Cotterill, is expecting another stern test from the away side but hopes to see his team continue picking up points.

On being back home and preparing for the game:

"You are always pleased to have your fans behind you - home or away. It's good that they can come along to tomorrow's game and watch the team. We want to put on a good show for them.

"We've worked on similar things but crammed them into a short space of time. The weather wasn't too clever this morning but we have worked around it. There was work to do in the meeting room this morning because we like to de-brief from the last game.

"The meeting was longer because of the disruption this morning. We managed to get to where we want to get to. I am pleased with how things are going. I thought there were plenty of positives from the last game.

"We have shown things back to the players this morning and showed them areas to improve on. It's important that we know the areas we can improve on. You also have the opposition to take into account."

On Blackpool:

"I always look at the form. I would perhaps look at form more so than the league table - because that's what you are playing at the time. We know that Blackpool are going to be offering up a good challenge. We want to give them a good challenge too.

"They play with both styles. I don't think there is just one style that you could pick out. But as I said before, your players have to have the right idea. A clear identity is easy to play against.

"I don't actually know Neil but I will meet him tomorrow. We are looking forward to the game. The lads are all looking good so hopefully it stays that way."
