Conor McAleny previews Town's Sky Bet League One Clash with Doncaster Rovers.
Shrewsbury Town welcome Doncaster Rovers to the Montgomery Waters Meadow this weekend for another Sky Bet League One fixture.
The Shrews will be looking for three points against Darren Moore’s team who last lost out to Gillingham away from home.
“We know it’s going to be a tough game,” said Conor. “They are a tough team to play against but we are searching for that win. It will be a great feeling if we get the three points.
"We go into every game looking for three points, you have to approach it with that mentality. We’ve got to be compact to deal with their threats and defend like our lives depend on it.
"The fans have been great since I’ve joined. I actually went to the game at Anfield and sat with the away fans, the support was brilliant that night so I’m just hoping we can give them something to cheer about against Doncaster.
"It’s been good to have a full week of training, not so much for me as I joined later on but mainly for the other lads who have been in this intense run since Christmas. There has been a lot of Saturday, Tuesday games which could have taken it’s toll a little bit but we’ve had a good week to regroup and we go into the game full of confidence.
"I think I’ve settled in pretty well, the lads are great, it’s a good dressing room, the staff are brilliant and so are the fans so I’ve enjoyed my time here so far."
