Marcus Braddock looks ahead to the weekend visit of Doncaster Rovers

The weekend brings Shrewsbury Town back to Montgomery Waters Meadow to face Doncaster Rovers in Skybet League One. Sitting five places above us in 11th place. Rovers have had the better form in the lead-up to the game with five wins and three defeats in their last ten games. Last weekend, Rovers surrendered an early lead with Cameron John scoring two own goals in a game that also saw ex-Town striker Fejiri Okenabihrie sent off in the first half.

They've scored an average of 1.5 goals per away game and concede an average of 1.

Rovers have only conceded one goal in the first half an hour of away games this season.

They've also failed to score in just over 30% of their away games.

Referee

Andy Woolmer from Northamptonshire. Games this season: 27. Yellow cards: 72. Red cards: 3.

Team News

Rovers have just welcomed defender Alex Baptiste back from injury after several months on the sidelines. Fejiri Okenabihrie is suspended.

Brad Walker is back in training, Shaun Whalley is a possibility but Ollie Norburn will be out for some time yet.

Summary

This is the first of two home games in less than a week and without wanting to add to the pressure, we really need a win to put us back on the right track. Doncaster are obviously going to make it very difficult for us as they eye up a play-off bid but I'm hopeful that after a full week without a game, we've recharged our batteries and are feeling a bit fresher.

COYB!!!

There will be a minutes silence before the game to honour Harry Gregg who played for Doncaster and managed Shrewsbury Town.
