Marcus Braddock looks ahead to this evenings visit of Tranmere Rovers
Tonight we welcome Micky Mellon and his Tranmere Rovers team back to Montgomery Waters Meadow. The ex-Town boss is having a bit of a rough time with his team in quite a long run of poor results. They've not won a Skybet League One game since the middle of December and have only scored once in their last six games. Their league position and their points total make you wonder if they have any sort of hope of staying in League One. They do have a couple of games in hand on Wimbledon, who are just above them in 20th position, if they won both of them, they'd be just a couple of points away from safety. So there is plenty for Rovers to play for if they can play their way out of their current run of form.

Summary
Sam Ricketts has already said that we shouldn't read too much into Tranmere's recent results and that sounds the sensible option. Micky Mellon may well manage to squeeze a little more out of his Tranmere team for this one and we know they've beaten Premiership Watford this season, so they're more than capable of putting us to the sword if we don't perform.
