The Chairman, Roland Wycherley and Board of Directors are delighted to announce the appointment of Mr Paul Delves as Director of Shrewsbury Town FC.
Mr Delves will bring his business acumen and skills to the Board Room which will compliment and provide further stability for the future of the Club.
Paul is a very successful local businessman who has already demonstrated commitment to the Club over recent years as stadium name (Montgomery Waters) and shirt sponsor (Tuffins).
He also fits the Board’s main criteria going forward which is, to remain ambitious and sustainably to develop our long term strategy by way of the further progress of the team, youth academy, stadium and training ground facilities, Community engagement as well as all other aspects of the Football Club.
Paul will join the Chairman, Roland Wycherley, Brian Caldwell (Company Secretary & Chief Executive), and James Hughes on the Board of Directors.
Paul Delves said: “I am deeply honoured to be invited on to the Board of Directors of Shrewsbury Town FC and further strengthen my links to our local Football Club. The Club has been run fantastically well for many years under the stewardship of Roland (Wycherley) and I will look to assist him and my fellow Board members where possible over the coming years.
