On January 14th, Shrewsbury Town FC were deadlocked in an FA Cup replay against Bristol City, with both teams knocking on the door, nobody had been able to find an opening - Fast forward to the 89th minute, popular defender Aaron Pierre played a neat 1-2 with Jason Cummings, as the ball found its way back to Pierre, he hit a first-time shot, the ball fizzed through a crowded defence, past the keeper and into the back of the net! - the Montgomery Waters Meadow erupted, and after 4 long minutes of added time, the final whistle blew, players embraced and hundreds of fans spilt onto the pitch in elation at the fact that Shrewsbury Town had secured Premier League Liverpool in the next round!
