Sam Ricketts gives his thoughts on the Emirates FA Cup fifth-round draw.
Shrewsbury Town or Liverpool have been drawn against Chelsea in the fifth-round of the Emirates FA Cup.
Salop will face off with The Reds at Anfield to decide which team will venture to Stamford Bridge for the next round of the competition.
Town manager Sam Ricketts gave his immediate reaction following on from the draw. “It’s similar to how it panned out last time,” said Sam. “Such an attractive tie but this time we have an amazing replay with Liverpool.
“If we were to come through such a difficult replay, it would be an amazing experience to play against Chelsea. There is a huge challenge in the way. We gave it our best shot last game and it’s going to be incredibly difficult going to Anfield.
“If we were to come through, it would be another amazing FA Cup tie. There is a lot of work to do before that but it's nice to be in the draw. It’s nice to dream a little bit but there is an awful lot of work to be done to get there in the first place.”
