Sean Goss previews Town's Sky Bet League One fixture with Gillingham.
Shrewsbury Town are on the road this week and will be facing Gillingham at Priestfield Stadium.
Salop will be heading into the game full of confidence having upset the odds to earn a 2-2 draw against Liverpool in the Emirates FA Cup.
Town midfielder Sean Goss is looking forward to the test but is expecting a tough evening against The Gills.
“The lads are all feeling confident ahead of this one, especially coming off the back of a good result against Liverpool,” said Sean. “We showed great character to come back.
“We know it’s going to be a tough game against Gillingham. They are always an organised team and have picked up some good results recently – it’s going to be a tough game.
“The front three they have up there have been causing trouble lately. All of our focus has to be on that now. We need to have another reaction down there to pick up three points.
“We have to train hard today and then go on the long trip down there. We have to put our minds on the game; we don’t want any excuses about the weekend’s game or the journey.
“Training will be intense and we only have a short amount of time to prepare. We have always said as long as we stick in an around it, we will be ok. We have shown what we are about and it’s about finding consistency in the league now as well.”
