Lifumpa Mwandwe’s Newtown took on TNS away from home in the quarter-final of the JD Welsh Cup but were knocked out by the current Cymru Premier League champions. Town’s young forward started but was unable to help his team avoid a 6-1 loss.
A.F.C Telford United
Ryan Barnett’s Telford took on Spennymoor Town away from home in the National League North this weekend. Despite going 3-1 up, the Bucks took home a point as the game ended 3-3. Barnett managed to have a positive impact on the game having registered an assist.
Coalville
Kian Taylor didn't feature for his team this weekend as their fixture with Kings Langley was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
Market Drayton
Sam Agius’ fixture with Loughborough was also called off due to a waterlogged pitch.
Shawbury
Elliot Tibbs and Edan Sears’ fixture with Worcester Raiders was another fixture that fell foul to the weather as their fixture was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
