Match preview for Town's Sky Bet League One fixture with Swindon Town.

After winning two cup games away from home in the last week, Shrewsbury Town return to Montgomery Waters Meadow for their Skybet League One game against Swindon Town. The Robins currently occupy 20th position with nine points after losing six and winning three times. All three of their wins have been at home with Rochdale (3-1), Burton (4-2) and Hull City (2-1) defeated. However, they did record their first away win of the season at Forest Green this week in the Papa John's Trophy, beating Forest Green 1-0.

Head to Head

Our last two games with Swindon were in the 2016/17 season and both ended in 1-1 draws. Both were intense affairs with three red cards and goals from Ivan Toney and Mat Sadler. The previous season had seen Swindon beat us home and away, 3-0 at the County Ground and 1-0 at Montgomery Waters Meadow. In total, we've played each other 62 times with the Robins winning twice as many times as us with 28 League wins.
