Sam Ricketts previews Town's Sky Bet League One clash with Burton Albion.
Shrewsbury Town welcome Burton Albion to Montgomery Waters Meadow tomorrow evening for the Shrews’ latest Sky Bet League One fixture.
Town will be looking to bounce back from an away defeat against Peterborough United with the visit of the Brewers.
Town’s Manager Sam Ricketts is expecting a tough test from Brewers as his team look to secure three points.
On the fixture:
“I have seen a lot of their games recently. They are a team that has a really good go – similar to us. They’re on a difficult run like us. Their players go all game and there’s no lack of effort.
“It will be two sets of players who will give everything for their team. Earlier in the season, we played some good football but haven’t scored the goals that get you the results.
“The league table will start to take shape soon enough. It’s going to be incredibly tight this year if you look at the table. It’s very hard to get out of the groove that you are in.
“Games are coming thick and fast. That means tomorrow is another opportunity to try and put things right.”
On the squad:
“We had a couple of knocks from the game but everyone will be ready to go again. We won’t be losing anyone other than Josh Vela and we won’t be able to get any of the others back in time.”
