Sam Ricketts gives his thoughts following Town's 2-2 draw with MK Dons.
Shrewsbury Town’s trip to Milton Keynes ended with Sam Ricketts’ men earning a point against MK Dons.
Despite a goal in each half for the Shrews, Town were unable to prevent the home side from pulling level in the second half.
Sam Ricketts is disappointed his team didn’t secure the win and felt refereeing decisions cost Town the victory.
“We had two goals ruled out for offside in the first half. They were both well onside. Those goals would have put us 4-0. As much as we get frustrated with certain things, it’s very hard to win any game with refereeing like that.
“We went 2-0 up and were excellent and should have been four up because they were both onside. We don’t seem to be getting any decisions. The referee changed the game. Their second goal was offside.
“Unless you have those goals, you’re naturally hesitant in wanting to win games. Our goals were excellent and we should have scored one or two on top of that. We were very good until we gave them a poor goal.”
