Shrewsbury Town moved back to the top of League One after a dramatic win at Fleetwood.
Wigan's shock 2-0 defeat to Blackpool paved the way for Salop to regain the top spot as they travelled to 18th placed Fleetwood, who were looking to cause an upset.
Shrewsbury had the monopoly of the chances in the first half but Omar Beckles and Jon Nolan failed to take golden opportunities for the Shrews.
However, they struck in first-half injury time through Shaun Whalley, just seconds after Fleetwood should have taken the lead. Paddy Madden's first-time effort was thwarted by a brave Luke Hendrie sliding challenge. Beckles then led a charge up the other end that eventually saw Nathan Thomas whip the ball in for Whalley to nod home his 10th of the campaign.
It was not one of the substitutes, though, but Madden who pounced on some nervous set-piece defending by the Shrews to bundle home a 60th-minute leveller.
But this Shrewsbury team never gives up and substitute Nathan Thomas popped up with an 82nd-minute winner helping the Shrews regain top spot in League One, leap-frogging Wigan in the process.

Shrewsbury Town earn a point on the road against Fleetwood Town.
The Shrews' visit to Fleetwood Town ended with Sam Ricketts and his team taking a point away from Highbury Stadium.
Town took the lead twice through Shaun Whalley and Jason Cummings but ended up taking a point after The Cod Army battled back twice to earn the draw.
Wes Burns came close for the home side just after the 30-minute mark. The wide-man picked up the ball just inside the box but couldn’t find the target with a powerfully hit effort.
It was Town’s turn to have a chance at goal, and Salop nearly made it count. Shaun Whalley received a pass just outside The Cod Army box and let off a stinging shot. Unfortunately for the winger, the ball hit the bar and bounced away from danger.
However, the next chance that came The Shrews way was converted. Callum Lang saw his effort parried into the path of Whalley and the Salop man pounced to poke the ball home from close range.
The home side started the game in the best way possible by pulling back onto level terms. Lewie Coyle found space inside the box and cut his shot across the goal well to find the back of the net on 48 minutes.
The Shrews managed to make their late pressure count and found the back of the net on 82 minutes. Second-half substitute Jason Cummings managed to run into the opposition box and smash the ball into the corner.
Agonisingly for Shrews, the home side managed to pull level once again. Josh Morris fired a vicious effort towards goal from inside the box and found the net for his team - bringing The Cod Army level again.
