Shrewsbury Town saddened by Richie Barker passing.
Shrewsbury Town Football Club is saddened to hear of Richie Barker’s passing.
Richie joined Salop as Alan Durban’s Assistant Manager at Gay Meadow in 1974 before spending nine months as the Salop manager upon Durban’s exit.
Alan and Richie were a successful duo for Town as their managerial partnership helped guide the Shrews to promotion from Division Four in the 1974/75 season.
