Shrewsbury Town sign Marc Pugh on a short-term deal.
Shrewsbury Town Football Club is delighted to confirm the arrival of Marc Pugh who joins the club on a short-term deal until January.
The winger, who can also play as an attacking-midfielder, joins the club having left Queens Park Rangers earlier in the year.
Pugh re-joins Town after leaving the club for Hereford United in 2009. Since his time in Shropshire, the 33-year-old has enjoyed Sky Bet Championship and Premier League football on a regular basis with Bournemouth and Hull City.
Town’s Manager, Sam Ricketts, is delighted to have secured Pugh and is looking forward to working with Town’s new number 27.
On the signing:
“We are delighted Marc has joined the club. He is a player who knows the club well and he was very keen to come back. He enjoyed a great nine years with Bournemouth, gaining promotion to the Championship and the Premier League. He adds some more experience to our squad and will add a lot to our team. We are delighted to have him in and we are looking forward to working with him.”
