Sam Ricketts previews Town's home clash with Bristol Rovers.

Shrewsbury Town welcome Bristol Rovers to Montgomery Waters Meadow tomorrow evening for another Sky Bet League One fixture.

Town will be looking to secure all three points against the away side after Salop victory away from home last time out.

Town’s Manager, Sam Ricketts, is looking forward to the tie and hopes to see his team pick up more points.

On the quick turn-around:

“This one isn’t so bad. This is the first quick turn-around we’ve had for league games. In weeks to come, things will be very busy. It’s going to be like this until January.

“We are doing a lot of good things and we want to keep that going. We want performance levels consistently high to give us the best chance of winning games. Every team wants to keep winning and we are no different.”

On Rovers:

“We are expecting a very different Rovers to what we played last year. Last year they were very direct and would try to out-battle you as a team. This time around they have moved to three at the back and try to dominate from there.

“They try to use their passing range and way of playing to hurt the opposition. We look at all team’s strengths.  We will try to stop their key players and try to impose ourselves on the game. With such a quick turn-around, we will focus more on us rather than looking at the opposition.

“Everyone who played the last game is ok. We have our longer-term injuries but we have no further injuries. Some of the other lads are close to a return but not close enough for tomorrow.”
