Book your Shrewsbury Town Academy Coaching Workshop.
Shrewsbury Town in the Community is delighted to announce the launch of a series of Coach Development Workshops in collaboration with Shrewsbury Town Academy.
Rob Williams, Head of Coaching at Shrewsbury Town’s academy, will be delivering three workshops across Shropshire in November & December which will see a one-hour practical session on the ‘in possession topic’ linked to the Shrewsbury Town Academy Philosophy & Values.
This will be followed by a Q & A Session allowing you to pick up some extra tips and develop some more ideas along the way. Each event will provide a range of tasks and discussion points aimed at coaches with a wide range of experiences in Junior Grassroots Football, Schools Football Teams, or coaches with a passion to improve their knowledge around the beautiful game.
Rob has a wealth of experience and has been in post at Shrewsbury Town since September 2019 having previously held a similar role at Walsall FC alongside tutoring & mentoring roles with the FA.

Tuesday 24th November @ Lakelands Academy (Ellesmere): 5.30 – 7.00pm (5.30 – 6.30pm Practical followed by Q&A until 7.00pm)
Thursday 3rd December @ SCAT (London Road): 5.30 – 7.00pm (5.30 – 6.30 Practical followed by Q&A until 7.00pm)
All events will follow social distancing guidelines and all attendees will be required to self-assess on arrival. Booking in advance is essential, events will be capped with limited space available on a first-come-first-served basis.
