Dan Udoh previews Town's Sky Bet League One away fixture with Morecambe.
Shrewsbury Town's next fixture sees Steve Cotterill's men hit the road for the first away fixture of the 2021/22 Sky Bet League One campaign.
League One newcomers Morecambe at the Mazuma Stadium await as Salop look to earn the first three points of the new season.
Town forward Dan Udoh is looking forward to taking on the Shrimps and is looking to build on his brace in Round One of the Carabao Cup.
On the start to the season:
"I am feeling really good," said Dan. "We've had a really tough pre-season but it has been good. We didn't win our first league game but - for myself - there were a few nerves going into the game. We all want to do well and show how hard we've worked.
"It was good to get the win the other day. For me, it was really good to get off the mark because it's taken me a little longer in the last couple of years. It was good to get two in quick succession and now I will take it game-by-game."
On Morecambe:
"I saw they got a draw against Ipswich the other day, and we know it's going to be a tough game. When you get promoted from the league below, you want to impose yourself on teams. Morecambe will want to show why they got promoted and how good they can be. I expect a tough game from them but we want to get three points on the board.
"It's early days in the season and everyone is still working each other out. They will be looking to get points on the board as soon as possible but so are we."
