Ipswich Town fixture postponed due to a frozen pitch.
Shrewsbury Town Football Club can confirm today's Sky Bet League One fixture with Ipswich Town has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.
The covers were removed at 11am for the referee who arrived at 11:45. The referee monitored small areas of the pitch and deemed they aren't fit for play.
Despite a promising start to the day, weather conditions have worsened since midday and the pitch has been deemed unplayable by referee Lee Swabey.
Town will announce fixture re-arrangement in due course.
