Ollie Norburn hits the Salop century

10 February 2021

Ollie Norburn hits 100 appearances in blue and amber.

Town midfielder Ollie Norburn is the latest Salop player to join the '100 Club' as his appearance against Sunderland AFC in Sky Bet League One signified his century for Town.

Town's captain, and fans favourite, Ollie made the move to Shropshire from Micky Mellon's Tranmere Rovers for a Club record fee in 2018. Since making the move, the 28-year-old has netted 16 times in blue and amber from midfield and remains an integral part of the Shrews midfield.

"It's a fantastic achievement, he's been unbelievable since we took over. He's a leader on the pitch and a great captain. He's someone you'd always want in your team when you go into battle - he drives the team on every day."

Aaron Wilbraham

All at Shrewsbury Town Football Club would like to congratulate Ollie for reaching this important milestone.

Congratulations, Ollie!
