Town's fixture with Burton Albion has been postponed due to Burton returning a number of positive Covid-19 test results.
An EFL statement reads:
Burton Albion’s Sky Bet League One fixture against Shrewsbury Town, due to take place on Tuesday 26 January 2021, has been suspended.
Burton have informed the EFL that they are unable to fulfil the fixture due to an outbreak of Covid-19 and the requirement for players and staff to self-isolate in line with EFL and government guidance.
The circumstances surrounding the postponement will now be the subject of an investigation in accordance with EFL regulations.
A revised date for the rearranged fixture will be confirmed in due course.
