Shropshire Homes extend their long-standing Salop sponsorship until 2023.
Shropshire Homes, a long-standing sponsor of Shrewsbury Town Football Club, have extended their sponsorship of Town’s away shirt until June 2023.
Howard Thorne, the company’s Chairman, along with his fellow Directors, have been sponsoring the Club since the 1980s, but their support for the team goes further back than that.
“Shropshire Homes have been a mainstay of sponsorship for the Club for many years now,” said Shrewsbury Town’s Commercial Manager, Andrew Tretton. “They have regularly sponsored matches, advertising boards, the youth team and academy, and of course, have been on the front of our away shirt for a number of seasons.
“This is a significant level of commitment from Shropshire Homes, especially in these very uncertain times we all find ourselves in currently, and everyone at Town is extremely grateful for their unwavering and loyal support.”
Howard Thorne added: “We first sponsored Shrewsbury Town back in 1986 soon after we had established Shropshire Homes, which was a match ball against Chelsea in the FA Cup.
"We have sponsored the Youth Team since 2000 and have been proud to have our name on the team’s away shirts since 2017, and are delighted to be doing so once again. We’ve had some great results away from home in the away strip recently, and we’re looking forward to many more in the seasons to come!"
