Shrewsbury Town Football Club seeks Head of Academy Goalkeeping.

Hours of work: Full Time (evenings and weekends)

Salary: Competitive

Location:  Sundorne Sports Village, Sundorne Road, Shrewsbury, SY1 4RQ

Vacancy Details:

An exciting new opportunity has arisen within our Academy. We are looking for a hard-working Head of Academy Goalkeeping Coach to join our Academy Coaching Department. We are looking for experienced, dynamic and innovative individual’s, who will be responsible for working as part of our coaching team to deliver Goalkeeping specific provisions across the U9 – U18 age groups.

The successful candidate will plan, deliver and review coaching sessions in line with our playing and coaching philosophies. Manage and support the players alongside a co-coach during fixtures. They will also be required to liaise with other Full-Time and Part-Time staff as well as complete all off-pitch activities to deadlines. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a desire and enthusiasm for their own development.

Desirable

UEFA B Goalkeeping Licence (minimum requirement)

UEFA A Goalkeeping Licence

Extensive experience of developing goalkeepers

A teaching qualification

Knowledge and understanding of the EPPP process

BSc in a sport-related subject

Valid FA Licence Coaches Club Membership

Previous experience of Audit process in Academies

FA Safeguarding Qualification

Extensive experience of working across all levels in the professional game

FA EFFAiF (BFAS)

Professional playing experience

Clean UK Driving Licence

 

DBS Undertaken
