Charlie Caton shares his thoughts on signing his first professional contract with the Shrews.
Shrewsbury Town Football Club were earlier delighted to confirm that Charlie Caton signed professional terms with the Club.
The forward, who joined Town from Wrexham in 2019, ended the season making his full league debut under Town Gaffer Steve Cotterill as he looks to build towards the 21/22 campaign.
Charlie is delighted to have signed professional terms with Salop and is looking forward to linking back up with his Salop team-mates in the coming months.
On signing the deal:
"I am delighted," said Charlie. "I've loved every minute here since I joined the Club. I want to thank the staff and the Manager for this opportunity. Training and learning every day with the players has been so good.
"It has been great having minutes on the pitch with the first-team. We are missing the fans but hopefully next season I can get some minutes with them here.
"I learned so much when the Gaffer first came in. I have worked with Davie in the youth team and he's brought me on a lot. With Aaron being a striker, I've learned a lot from him. His little tips here and there have been massive."
