Tom Bloxham shares his thoughts on signing a two-year deal with Salop.
Shrewsbury Town Football Club were earlier delighted to confirm that Tom Bloxham signed professional terms with the Club.
Signing a two-year deal in Shropshire, Tom signs off the back of a positive season for the 17-year-old having made his full league debut under Town boss Steve Cotterill towards the latter stages of the campaign.
The Salop Academy graduate is pleased to have earned a professional contract and is now relishing joining back up with Town for the 21/22 season.
On signing the deal:
"Yeah I am buzzing," said Tom. "All of my hard work through the under-18's and training with the first-team has come to this. Last season was good for me, but I need to keep working to get opportunities.
"The coaching staff have helped me out so much. Without them, I would have probably struggled a little bit. Aaron has done extras with me after sessions and that has been good for me. I want to score goals and get some assists. I will be working hard to earn a place. Playing in a packed stadium is what dreams are made of."
