David Davis previews Town's Sky Bet League One home clash with Fleetwood Town.
Town welcome Fleetwood Town to Montgomery Waters Meadow this weekend for the second home Sky Bet League One fixture of the week.
Town will be looking to build on the last result and go one better having earned a point against AFC Wimbledon.
Salop midfielder David Davis is looking forward to taking on the away side and notes he is enjoying life in the Salop squad.
On the test of Fleetwood:
"We collectively look at the opposition, but on the day you have to be ready for anything. The boys have shown they can beat teams at the top end of the table. We need consistency now going against teams around us.
"We need to concentrate on the things we do well. We are at home so we need to use that to our advantage. We need to make the Meadow a fortress. The lads have been great there and we will treat it like any other game.
"I am feeling confident. I feel a lot fresher than I thought I would be. I feel good and the lads feel good. The lads have set high standards and they aren't looking behind them - that breeds confidence."
On re-joining Town:
"I have enjoyed it here so far. I knew a lot of the lads before I came so it has been an easy transition. Having the 10-day period off wasn't great but I have settled straight back in.
"I've worked with the Gaffer before and that has made it easier to learn how the boys operate. I hadn't played a competitive game for a long time so easing me in was probably the best thing for me.
"The Gaffer being here is massive for me. I got on with him really well when he was my manager at Birmingham. Things didn't work out for him there but we got on really well."
