Harry Burgoyne previews Town's Sky Bet League One away fixture with Burton Albion

Shrewsbury Town are on the road tomorrow evening as Steve Cotterill's men take on Burton Albion at the Pirelli Stadium.

Town will be looking to extend an unbeaten run to four games with a result over Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink's team but face a stern test from the home side who have won three of their last five fixtures.

Town shot-stopper Harry Burgoyne is looking forward to the fixture and is hoping to see Town pick up more valuable points on the road.

On the challenge of Burton:

“They have been on a good run of late, they are quite direct, we have to just worry about ourselves, we have our game plan and we just have to go and execute it”.

On the chance to get back between the sticks:

“I’m feeling really good. It's nice to get an opportunity to play and help the team. The boys have been doing really well of late so it's important to come in and do your best to keep up the performances.

“It's nice to come into a well-organised team where everyone knows what their jobs are so that makes it a lot easier.

“Matija has come in and done really well this year and he deserves it for the work he has put in off the pitch. He was working hard every day to come back after the injury and so he deserves to be going out there with his country.

“You need competition in every position and that’s how you are successful. It makes training a better standard because you are competing every day and you are pushing each other - you can never get complacent."

On working with Brian Jensen goalkeeper coach and his approach to penalties:

“Every day we get our work done. Brian is really good at making sure that if I’m not playing, I’m getting the work I need so I’m ready if I’m called upon.

“We do a good job of making sure we tick all the boxes when it comes to preparation for games. We are on a good run and we want to continue that so I am really looking forward to the game."
