Young shot-stopper Jaden Bevan signs professional Salop terms.
Shrewsbury Town Football Club were delighted to earlier confirm that Jaden Bevan has signed a one-year professional contract with the Club.
A boyhood Salop supporter, Jaden join the Shrews Academy aged 14 and enjoyed regular training with the first-team last season. As well as gaining experience on the training field, the 6'4 goalkeeper has also spent time out on loan with local club Haughmond.
Town's young shot-stopper is delighted to have signed the deal and admits he is looking forward to the next season starting.
On signing the deal:
"This is what I always wanted," said Jaden. "Shrewsbury are my team and I grew up watching the Club. All of my hard work has come to this but I have to keep working hard to get more opportunities - I am buzzing.
"Every young player wants to be with the first-team and I felt like I developed quicker when training with the lads. It's a faster tempo and the shots are a lot harder. Having the opportunity to be on the bench and being around Matija Sarkic and Harry Burgoyne has been amazing.
"I feel like I have matured with the first-team and it has been really good. Phill Smart brought me on a lot and Brian Jensen has been really good - everyone has helped me with little tips and advice."
