Jaden Bevan signs professional terms

20 May 2021

Town Academy graduate Jaden Bevan signs a one-year deal at Montgomery Waters Meadow.

Shrewsbury Town Football Club is delighted to confirm that Jaden Bevan has signed a one-year professional contract with the Club.

A boyhood Salop supporter, Jaden joined the Shrews Academy aged 14 and enjoyed regular training with the first-team last season. As well as gaining experience on the training field, the 6'4 goalkeeper has also spent time out on loan with local club Haughmond.

Town's Academy Director and First-Team Coach David Longwell has been impressed with the goalkeeper's development and feels the boyhood Salop fan has earned his stay in Shrewsbury.

"It's interesting to see how players develop differently," said David Longwell. "Jaden was doing ok but he's really kicked on since the turn of the year. He came up to train with the first-team from January and he's impressed everybody. He's worked hard with Brian Jensen and he's done really well - he deserves another year."

Congratulations, Jaden!
