Dan Udoh previews Town's Emirates FA Cup away fixture with Stratford Town.
Shrewsbury Town's Emirates FA Cup journey begins with a trip to Knights Lane as Salop take on Stratford Town in the first round of the competition.
Recent history has seen Town enjoy memorable occasions in the Emirates FA Cup and Town's 2021/22 cup campaign starts with an away fixture against the Southern League Premier Division Central club.
Dan Udoh is looking forward to the cup clash and hopes to see Town enjoy another Emirates FA Cup run.
On the fixture:
"We've done analysis on them this morning and the manager has shown us what we should expect. We're expecting a good game, tough opposition but it's down to us to get into the next round. I've played at that level and I know they will be a determined team. When you're playing against a team in the EFL, it's like a cup final.
"There will be players in that team who will want to show what they're about. They will want to cause an upset. When we went to Liverpool, we had that sort of feeling and I expect that's how they'll be feeling as well. As I said, we need to make sure we do the right things to win the game and progress.
"They're going to give it their all but this is where we have to push on and show our professionalism. We need to have that same intensity, keep the ball moving and score goals when we make chances. In the years I've been here, we've always had good cup runs. We've played in big games and I want more of those memories and games like that."
