George Nurse previews Town's Sky Bet League One home fixture with Sunderland AFC.
Shrewsbury Town return to Montgomery Waters Meadow tonight for the first of two consecutive home fixtures in the Sky Bet League One.
Steve Cotterill’s men welcome Sunderland AFC and will be hoping this season’s optimistic home form will provide of positive result come the final whistle.
Town defender George Nurse is looking forward to the fixture but knows what the squad need to do if they’re to get all three points.
On the Fixture:
“I’m really looking forward to it, it’s going to be a tough game, obviously they’re up there in the table but like the gaffer said, we know what we need to do and hopefully get the three points.
“I feel like we just need to be confident as a team, when we get the ball and when we play football, we are decent.”
On playing in different positions:
“I had a few spells playing left-back and now I’m playing left centre half on the left of a back three and I’m really enjoying it. I feel like I’ve adapted well there, I get a bit of time on the ball which I like, and it allows me to drive up from the back so I’m enjoying it."
