Ryan Bowman previews Town's clash with Cheltenham Town

Ryan Bowman previews Town's Sky Bet League One away fixture with Cheltenham Town.

Shrewsbury Town are back on the road this weekend as Steve Cotterill's men take on newly promoted Cheltenham Town at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium.

Salop will be looking to earn all three points with the visit to Gloucestershire having secured a point away from home against Lincoln City last time out in Sky Bet League One action.

Town forward Ryan Bowman expects a stern test from the home side but hopes to see Town pick up all three points on the road.

On the fixture:

"We know it's going to be a difficult game and we know what to expect from them. They have their strengths and it's our job to nullify them as best we can. We need to get on the ball and make it all about us. We've picked up a couple of good results in the league recently so we are looking forward to the game.

"I played against them last season with Exeter and they beat us quite convincingly to be fair to them. Going back a few years, I played against them twice with York City and we beat them both times home and away.

"We want to keep our league momentum going. In our game against Stratford, we went a goal down but showed our quality in the end scoring five goals. We got four against Cambridge and we want to continue that. Training has been really good this week and everyone is looking to continue that.

"We are a united team rather than individuals. We all work hard together and know what our teammates are going to do in certain situations. We are all working hard and want to climb up that table as quick as possible.

"I am feeling confident. I've scored a few goals during the last few weeks which obviously would give any striker confidence. I want to go out there and score every time I play."
