David Davis looks ahead to Town's Sky Bet League One fixture against Lincoln City.
Shrewsbury Town travel to Sincil Bank on Saturday to face Lincoln City in their latest Sky Bet League One fixture.
Steve Cotterill’s men will be looking to replicate their impressive 4-1 win at home to Cambridge United at a ground where Salop took all three points last season.
Midfielder David Davis excepts a tough test against the Imps but has no reason as to why Salop can’t take all three points from the game.
On the fixture:
“it’s a test but I think it’s one well embrace, obviously they’re in and around us so well be looking to get a win there on Saturday.
“They obviously got a win in midweek, and we saw that result but for us it’s just look at ourselves and how we can get up the table
“Last year we went there and won 1-0, so well be looking at replicating that or get an even better result. There’s no reason why we can’t go there and impose ourselves on the game”
On the result against Cambridge and the four goals:
“It was a big relief for us all. I think it’s been coming for a while, in most games we’ve had a lot of chances just obviously not finished, but even the first half I thought we could have been two or three up but yes the score line was great for us.”
