Elliott Bennett previews Town's clash with Bolton Wanderers

Elliott Bennett previews Town's Sky Bet League One away fixture with Bolton Wanderers.

Shrewsbury Town's next Sky Bet League One fixture sees the Shrews take on Bolton Wanderers at the University of Bolton Stadium.

Steve Cotterill's men will be looking to bounce back against the Wanderers following Town's narrow Sky Bet League One loss against AFC Wimbledon.

Town defender Elliott Bennett is looking forward to the fixture and hopes to see his team return to winning ways against the Wanderers.

On preparation and the fixture:

"We went over the game today from Tuesday night and looked at what we can improve on as well as the positives we can take from the game. We've now switched our focus to Bolton and the quick turnaround. We don't have too long to stew on the result and we'll get back out there to get a result. I'm not a fan of Saturday to Saturday games. I prefer getting out there and I love playing games. When you're winning it's great to keep the ball rolling and when you lose you can get back on the bike and put things right.

"Bolton are a good side and their league positions shows that. They secured a great result on Tuesday night but the last game doesn't matter too much. It's 11 men against 11 men, and on any other given day, anyone can beat anyone. We have to focus on what we do well and go there with confidence.

"We showed against Sheffield Wednesday, arguably the best team in the league, that we can be better any team. I'm older than the other lads and you just have to enjoy these moments and occasions. You have to enjoy the size of the stadiums, the fans and the size of the club. At the end of the day, they're in the same league as us for a reason. We will embrace it, enjoy it and challenge ourselves against top teams.

"I am feeling good and ready to go. I love playing football and being here has been great for me so far. I've been available and the manager has been selecting me - long may that continue. I just want to help the team as much as I can."
