Luke Leahy previews Town's fixture with Cambridge United

Luke Leahy previews Town's Sky Bet League One home fixture with Cambridge United.

Shrewsbury Town return to Montgomery Waters Meadow this weekend for the latest Sky Bet League One fixture.

Steve Cotterill's men welcome Cambridge United to Shropshire as Salop look to secure all three points at Montgomery Waters Meadow.

Town defender Luke Leahy expects a stern test from the visitors but hopes to help the Shrews earn three points against the away side.

On the fixture:

"I am ready to go and hopefully I'm back in for the weekend. Not being able to play because of suspension was weird watching the game from the side. I didn't enjoy it one bit and I got more nervous than I would be if I was playing. Hopefully back in on Saturday and hopefully I can play a part.

"We did a bit of analysis on Cambridge this morning and they seem like a hard-working team with a real togetherness. It will be a tough game like any game in this league. We have to make sure we all turn up and are right at it. Hopefully by five o'clock, we'll be sitting here with three points.

"It's down to us to play well and work hard. We don't know which opposition players will be starting but we've just got to concentrate on ourselves. All of the starting 11 and the three subs need to turn up and give it 100% - we should be ok.

"Last Saturday against MK Dons, our fans really pushed us on. We were all determined to win that game and see it out. The fans helped us massively in seeing the game out and you could hear them throughout."

On the different roles played:

"I'm enjoying it. We all want the results to be better but from a personal point of view, I'm enjoying the different roles that I'm playing. I am learning every single day and that's the main thing for me. I am playing every game when I'm available and hopefully that can continue."
