Steve Cotterill previews Town's Sky Bet League One clash against Lincoln City.

Shrewsbury Town are back on the road this weekend for their latest Sky Bet League One fixture.

Steve Cotterill’s men travel to Sincil Bank to face Lincoln City, looking to carry on from their impressive 4-1 win over Cambridge United last week.

Town’s manager says his side have no fear going into any game and is looking forward to Saturday’s game.

“We haven’t got any fear of going anywhere really. We're going to go up against good teams and I think that's part and parcel of the league, wherever you go you're going to come up against a good team there's no there's no easy games in this league, we will be looking forward to it.”

On the win their last season:

“It was a good win, defensively very good that night, well organised and hard working. All the traits that you need to have if you're going to win the game against one of the better teams in the league away from home."

Following on from Saturday’s win:

“Football clubs are always a happier place when you've won a game in that week but it's not anything where the lads are over the top and go into arrogant mode or anything like that.

“Even when we got beat the mood is pretty good, it's pretty professional in terms of we’ll know when we haven't done well or when we've given away a silly goal or it's cost us or something like that or mistakes being made.

“But at the end of the day you’ve got to try and keep them a little bit upbeat because you've got to go again that's the one good thing about our game, you could have a win and then sometimes you don't get enough time to enjoy it because you’ve got another midweek game or another time you've had a defeat and then you want the midweek game because you want to try and get that game out your system. We're pretty balanced here fairly across the board, we try and keep that equilibrium where we don't get too high on the highs and we try not to get too low on the lows.”

Injury Updates:

“Josh Daniels is struggling with his ankle a little bit and Josh Vela is not quite there but improving again, it's going to be one that we have to be careful with, with Josh and obviously with JD a little bit which is disappointing.

“Josh had a bit of an ankle problem, he came on and then had to go off of the pitch again which was a bit of a disappointment for him, but it was quite a tough tackle. Not something that we squeal about anyway, but it was quite a tough tackle, his ankle is quite swollen and quite badly bruised, so he's been down to the cryotherapy chamber this morning but he still walking very gingerly on that.”
