Ethan Ebanks-Landell reflects on Town's loss against Accrington Stanley

Ethan Ebanks-Landell reflects on Town's 1-0 Sky Bet League One loss at the Wham Stadium.

Shrewsbury Town's return to Sky Bet League One action saw Steve Cotterill's men take on Accrington Stanley at the Wham Stadium.

The away fixture with John Coleman's team ultimately ended in disappointment for Salop as the home side secured a 1-0 win.

Town captain Ethan Ebanks-Landell was left frustrated with the result but noted Town's togetherness as the Shrews look to return to winning ways.

On the result:

"We are frustrated. We've had a few results like this recently and we need to turn it around. I felt we were bullied in the first 20 minutes - myself included - and we weren't good enough. Conceding early on gives you a mountain to climb. It was only one goal but it gave them something to protect. We came back into the game but didn't create enough chances

"We have to dust ourselves down, get back in training on Monday and watch our clips to see where we can improve. You could see the boys were fighting right until the end and we have to keep our confidence high because results have to change. We are here for a reason. The Gaffer trusts us, I trust the lads and we have to keep working hard. Eventually, positive changes will come.

"When you aren't in the greatest form, you want to keep playing so you can change things around as quick as possible. Maybe the fact we don't have a Tuesday game is good so we have that sour taste in our mouths for a little bit longer. We need to come out on Saturday with more fight and secure a positive result."
