Shrewsbury Town Women announce partnership with Physis Quantum.

Shrewsbury Town's Women's Team is proud to announce a new sponsored partnership with Physis Quantum. This sponsorship means that Town's players this season are able to play for free, something that previously had never been an option.

Physis Quantum specialises in providing residential care, therapy and education for children and young people aged 11-18 years who have experienced or, are at high risk of exploitation. Their dedicated staff team offers therapeutic and nurturing support to empower young people to maximise their opportunities and aspirations.

A Shrewsbury Town in the Community statement read: "We would like to express our thanks towards Physis Quantum for their support of Shrewsbury Town women and their continued support to help the development of our Women's team."

Laurence O’dwyer, Head of Service at Physis Quantum added: "Physis is a growing residential care organisation based in Shropshire and we felt that a partnership with the Women's football team was a really nice way of promoting our ethos and supporting young women within our county.”

Vikki Owen, Captain of the women's team added: “We can't begin to explain how grateful we are for them, to have this continued support. It's really important for the girls. The fact that we're paying for free. It takes a lot of pressure off in some ways but also gives everybody a bit more drive to do it, not just for ourselves but for others as well, which is amazing, so we're just trying to get the results on the pitch now to show how grateful we are for this support.”
