Steve Cotterill previews Town's clash with Wycombe Wanderers

Steve Cotterill previews Town's Sky Bet League One home fixture with Wycombe Wanderers.

Shrewsbury Town swiftly return to Montgomery Waters Meadow tomorrow evening for another Sky Bet League One fixture with Wycombe Wanderers.

Steve Cotterill's men will be looking to make it four games unbeaten with the visit of the Chairboys following Town's win over AFC Wimbledon last weekend.

Town's Manager is expecting another tough test from Gareth Ainsworth's men but hopes to see a continuation of Town's positive results.

On the fixture:

"The lads did a decent tactical session this morning and they've been down to the cryotherapy chamber straight after. Hopefully by tomorrow night they will be rested and recuperated ready to go again. When you win a game, you'd like a clear week to enjoy it more but either way, it doesn't make a difference.

"This fixture will be similar to the weekend. They will be similar in lots of ways to Wimbledon and they are an experienced team. They have some very experienced players, a few of them I know very well. I'm looking forward to seeing a few of their lads tomorrow night.

"Gareth is a good guy and he's done very well at Wycombe. It's a game we are looking forward to. I imagine they will be there or thereabouts come the end of the season. It's a long old season but they have some good players and it will be a tough game. Having a manager there for so long allows you to build.

"The lads are confident but I wouldn't say they've ever been badly affected by a lack of confidence. They have been durable and I think they're confident going into the game. They're confident but certainly not arrogant - they're in a good place at the moment."

Squad news:

"Elliott will be fine, that was cramp more than anything. With Josh Vela, we will know more about him tomorrow morning. Elliott will be fine, I'm sure about that. Josh Daniels had a bit of a knock in training this morning and we'll have to wait and see how he is."
