Shrewsbury Town boss Steve Cotterill has been nominated for the Sky Bet League One Manager of the Month award for March.
Shrewsbury picked up 11 points and five clean sheets from their six games in March. These included two games against the league-leaders Rotherham United from which they earned four points and condemned the Millers to their biggest defeat of the season when they won 3-0 at the ASSEAL New York Stadium. Town also picked up their biggest win of the season when they thrashed Morecambe 5-0 at Montgomery Waters Meadow.
This impressive month of form lifted Salop from six points above the relegation zone at the start of the month to 15 clear by the end of it.
Cotterill is up against Kieran McKenna (Ipswich Town), Leam Richardson (Wigan Athletic), and Steve Schumacher (Plymouth Argyle).
