Christmas Visit | Hope House

22 December 2022

Shrewsbury players gave out presents and laughed along to a Christmas Panto on a visit to Hope House Children's Hospice.

Chey Dunkley, Matthew Pennington and Taylor Moore all visited the Oswestry-based hospice on Wednesday.

Each year Hope House supports more than 750 local families who are either caring for a terminally ill child, or whose child has died.

The Town squad has been getting out and about this year in a bid to spread some festive cheer.

And on Wednesday, Chey, Matt and Taylor headed to Hope House to give out some presents to patients.

The players then watched staff and two patients - Poppy and Morgan - perform in a Beauty and the Beast themed panto.

After that Chey, Matt and Taylor had a tour around the facilities where they saw a new sensory room and hydrotherapy pool.

The players also recorded special video messages for two children who recently lost a sibling.Generic-Web-Banner-Home-22-23.jpg
