Christmas came early for some clients of Radfield Home Care following a surprise visit from four Shrewsbury players.
The Town squad has been getting out and about to spread festive cheer this year - with more visits and Christmas activities set to take place in the coming days.
But last week, Marko Marosi, Luke Leahy, Jordan Shipley and Tom Bayliss kicked things off when they surprised three football-mad clients from Radfield Home Care.
A national home care franchise, Radfield Home Care Shrewsbury & Oswestry formed a partnership with the Shrewsbury Town Foundation earlier this year - with the two organisations working together to hold a weekly cafe that supports people with dementia.
Last week, three Radfield Home Care clients enjoyed a tour of Montgomery Waters Meadow.
Marko, Luke, Jordan and Tom then surprised them with a visit and also gave them Christmas presents to make the time extra special.
Everyone then sat down for a coffee to share their Shrewsbury Town memories in Smithy's.
Prompted by the Coracle, Radfield Care client John then reminisced about his time as a young Town fan and told stories about trips to Gay Meadow with his father in what was a heart-warming experience for all.
