Shrewsbury Town will welcome Wolverhampton Wanderers under-21s and Port Vale to Montgomery Waters Meadow before travelling to Edgeley Park face Stockport County.
Salop will face Wolverhampton Wanderers under-21s on Tuesday 30th August (19:00 kick-off) at Montgomery Waters Meadow for their first game of Group C. The invited youth team was the final side drawn into Group C and the squad will likely contain many of the players who took to the field in last season's Papa John's Trophy when Salop were the victors by a 3-1 scoreline at Montgomery Waters Meadow last October.
Recently promoted Port Vale will make the short journey to Shropshire on Tuesday 20th September (19:00 kick-off). Darrell Clarke's men demolished Mansfield Town in the League Two play-off final in May, thereby booking their place in League One for the 2022/23 season.
Tickets for both fixtures will cost £5 for adults and £1 for anyone under the age of 18. They will be made available for purchase nearer the time.
Shrewsbury make their first competitive visit to Edgeley Park since 2010 when they face Stockport County on Tuesday 18th October (19:30 kick-off) when they face Stockport County in the final Group C game. Another promoted side, Stockport reclaimed their spot in the Football League after a highly successful 2021/22 campaign that saw them secure the National League top spot.
Tickets for this fixture will cost £5 or £1 for concessions. Further ticket information will be made available nearer the time.
