Vacancy Details:
An exciting new opportunity has arisen within our Academy. We are looking for a hardworking Lead Foundation Phase Coach to join our Academy Coaching Department. We are looking for enthusiastic, dynamic, and innovative individuals, who will be responsible for working as part of our coaching team to primarily support the Foundation Phase age groups (leading one of the age groups) with the vision of producing players for our first team.
The successful candidate will: plan, deliver and review coaching sessions in line with our playing and coaching philosophies; manage and support the players alongside a co-coach during fixtures and training sessions; manage and lead the staff within the Foundation Phase age groups, ensuring alignment and the staff are following the Academy curriculum and fulfilling their responsibilities. As well, they will need to be comfortable having an input within CPD events. They will also be required to liaise with other full-time and part-time staff as well as complete all off-pitch activities to deadlines. Ideal candidates will also demonstrate a desire and enthusiasm for their own development.

- UEFA B Licence (minimum requirement)
- FA Advanced Youth Award (minimum requirement)
- Knowledge and understanding of EPPP
- Knowledge and understanding of PMA
- Valid FA Licence Coaches Club Membership
- FA Safeguarding Qualification
- FA EFFAiF (BFAS)
- Clean UK Driving Licence
- Enhanced DBS Check Undertaken
Desirable
- UEFA A Licence
- Degree in a sport-related subject
- Teaching qualification
- Experience in the audit process in Academies
- Experience in managing staff
- Excellent computer literacy
- Experience in performance analysis
