Christian Saydee has been voted the Shrewsbury Town Player of the Month for September.
The young striker, on loan from AFC Bournemouth, bagged two goals in four appearances this month.
After coming on as a substitute during Town's matches against Forest Green Rovers and Exeter City at the start of the month, Saydee started away at Port Vale and at home to Burton and netted one smartly taken goal in each match.
Speaking on Saydee, Steve Cotterill said:
"He is another one that is getting up to speed. We need to get him performing in the last 20 minutes of games as he does in the first 20 minutes of games. He has done great since he came in. He’s a young boy but has fitted in great with the group, as all the loan signings have."
