Shrewsbury Town will welcome Oxford United to Montgomery Waters Meadow this Saturday in the Sky Bet League One.
Both teams had success in their last outing. Salop recorded a 2-0 away win against Forest Green Rovers. An early first-half goal from Rekeil Pyke, followed by Jordan Shipley just after the interval, ensured it was an enjoyable afternoon for the travelling Shrewsbury fans. The game marked 100 games in charge of the club for manager Steve Cotterill.
Meanwhile, Oxford United clinched a 2-1 win at home against Burton Albion. Cameron Brannagan and Kyle Joseph both scored in the second half before Burton pulled one back towards the end of the game.
There have been 52 matches played between Shrewsbury and Oxford, with Town winning on 18 occasions, losing 21 of them and drawing 13. In the last Sky Bet League One campaign, Oxford recorded a 2-0 win at home, before winning 2-1 at Montgomery Waters Meadow later that season.
