Tom Bayliss spoke to the media ahead of this evening's game with Exeter City.
Summer signing Tom Bayliss has played in nine of Shrewsbury's 10 games so far this season and picked up one assist.
Town's most recent fixture - at home to Oxford United - was called off following the death of Queen Elizabeth II so it has now been 10 days since Salop last took to the field.
Bayliss discussed the above, this evening's game and how he's settling in at Shrewsbury.
ON THE QUEEN:
"She reigned for 70 years and I think for most of the people in the country she has been the constant in their lives.
"It was really sad, and the games were called off at the weekend as a tribute to Her Majesty The Queen.
"I think everyone has paid their respects in the right way, and hopefully, we can do that again before the game tonight."
ON THE SCHEDULE CHANGES:
"We found out the game was cancelled when we were training on Friday morning. We just did a little bit more after the session and then we were in Sunday preparing for Exeter tonight."
"We want to win and we want to build on the result against Forest Green. We want to get those first three points at home and keep building on what we are doing at the moment because we are going in the right direction."
ON HIS ASSIST AT FOREST GREEN ROVERS:
"I have known Shippers (Jordan Shipley) since I was very young and have played a lot of games with him.
"That is what we like to do and I feel like we know each other's games very well. Hopefully, there is much more of that to come."
ON HOW HE'S SETTLING IN:
"We have a really good bunch of lads. They are all really sound and there is a good camaraderie in the changing room.
"We are a really tight-knit bunch it has been a really good enjoyable first four months. There are no bad eggs in the group, we all get on really well."
