Shrewsbury Town

Shrewsbury Town are pleased to announce we have managed to restore the town centre/Shirehall shuttle service plus launch a new shuttle bus service to help supporters get to Montgomery Waters Meadow on a match day thanks to an arrangement with Lakeside Coaches.

Starting this Saturday ahead of our home game with Burton Albion, services will run from both Shrewsbury Bus Station, via Shirehall, and also from Meole Brace Park & Ride on Hereford Road.   

For matches kicking off at 3pm, a shuttle bus will leave Shrewsbury Bus Station at 1.15pm and 2.15pm with a pick-up at Shirehall at 1.30pm and 2.30pm respectively. It will then arrive at the stadium at 1.40pm or 2.40pm.   

The club will operate a second bus for games where demand requires.  

Shuttle services will also run from Meole Brace Park & Ride and will depart every 20 minutes from 1.15pm for a 3pm kick-off and every 20 minutes from 6pm for midweek 7.45pm kick-offs.  

After the game, fans will be able to jump on their respective shuttle buses and return to their original pick-up point.   

A return ticket from the bus station costs £6 for adults and £2 for children. From Shirehall, the price is £5 for adults and £1 for children. 

A single ticket from the bus station costs £3 for adults and £1 for children. From Shirehall, the price is £2.50 for adults and £0.50 for children. 

All buses from Meole Brace Park & Ride cost £3 for adults and £1 for children per return journey. All tickets are purchased on the bus on the day.

Shrewsbury Town supporter liaison officer Mike Davis added: “We are obviously delighted to get this sorted, it’s taken a lot of work behind the scenes to get all our ducks in a row but we have had amazing support from Lakeside Coaches. We are just delighted to get the service back up and running for those who rely on it to get to games.”
