Shrewsbury Town are thrilled to announce the Croud Meadow will host England Women Under-23s vs Belgium Women Under-23s on Monday, September 25.
The senior women's team are currently preparing for Sunday's World Cup final against Spain - with their success in Australia coming just a year after Sarina Wiegman's side won the European Championships.
And now fans have the chance to watch the next generation of England stars at the Croud Meadow next month.
The under-23 international kicks off at 7pm. Tickets cost £5 for adults and £1 for any concessions (65+ and 18 and under). They can be bought through Shrewsbury Town either online, over the phone or via the ticket office at the Croud Meadow.
England WU23s coach Emma Coates said: "We are looking forward to this fixture and grateful to Shrewsbury for hosting us.
“It has been a tremendous summer for our seniors in Australia, some of whom came through our WU23s, and we hope as many people as possible will come out and support the next generation.
“I am sure our young players will be excited by the game and the chance to follow in the Lionesses’ footsteps. Matches like this are vital for their development, both in their club and international careers.
“We are well supported by Sarina Wiegman and our technical director Kay Cossington. They understand just how important the player pathway is through to the seniors. We have a full programme of games coming up this season and every camp together will be an important chance for the players to show what they can do.”
Fans will be issued with either an E-ticket or a physical ticket. No print-at-home options will be available.
There will be a £1.50 postage fee per transaction for physical tickets purchased online or over the phone that require postage.
England and Belgium last met back in February, with the young Lionesses winning 4-1 at Prenton Park in Merseyside.
Shrewsbury Town are delighted to be welcoming international football back to Shropshire and we wish the Lionesses all the best as they gear up for the World Cup Final on Sunday.
